Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world, at over 3,800 meters above sea level! Take a trip from the port of Puno and navigate these shimmering waters to the legendary Floating Islands of the Uros people, constructed entirely out of the buoyant totora reed, a bulrush wetland plant which grows naturally in the lake.
