What To Expect

Enjoy a full day on the floating island of Uros and Taquile. Escape from Puno and enjoy the beautiful communities within Lake Titicaca. During this tour you will learn about the economic activities that take place on each of the islands, such as fishing, agriculture and harvesting.

The people who live on the islands enjoy a lot of tranquility, however, they lack many public services as they are a bit far from the city. On the island of Uros, the most interesting thing is to see how people live on floating islands made of a reed called Totora, on the other hand, on the island of Taquile, life is a little more normal, however, it is very interesting to take a walk and see the locals.

Not wheelchair accessible. Most travelers can participate. Not suitable for people with mobility impairments. This experience requires good weather.
