Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. You can wait for your turn to snorkel in Oslob (30 minutes to 1 hour) in the comfort of our dedicated waiting area (BCD'S PLACE).. We recommend that you bring your own anti-sickness medicine, since the travel time by car is relatively long and the roads are very bumpy.. The schedule for the day may be subject to change due to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, changes will be at the discretion of the guide on the day of the tour.. Whale sharks are wild animals and may not be seen during the tour.. For insurance purposes, we will require the names and dates of birth of all participants in order to verify the age. Failure to provide this information will result in your ineligibility for insurance.. As of January 2024, all reservations for tours that include whale shark viewing in Oslob will require the personal information and identification of all participants at the time of reservation and on the day of participation. Please submit (1) the names and dates of birth of all participants and (2) a photo ID (passport) image of one representative at the time of booking. Please note that in the case the information is not submitted in timely manner, the waiting time at the site will be more than 2 hours and the departure time will be different from that of other participants, so you will be guided as a private tour and you will be charged an additional fee.. For safety reasons, children under 7 years old are not allowed on the tour.. Insurance cannot be provided for those who are 76 years and older; however, you may participate if you purchase own insurance.
