Nowadays Cascais is one of the most popular leisure, sports and culture destinations in the Lisbon region, for locals and tourists alike. It's also the most sought-after and expensive residential area in the metropolitan area of Lisbon, this in stark contrast with most of its history as a small and humble fishing village. In this tour we try to show, but also to understand and question how Cascais changed so radically.
