Pastel de Nata Workshop in REAL Bakery

The experience starts with an introduction to the history of Pastel de Nata while you sample famous traditional pastries from João's bakery, followed by the cooking class and tasting.

• Learn how to make puff pastry like the pros, custard from scratch, and bake it all inside a professional oven. Then enjoy your warm tarts along with a drink!

About your host, João: "My crib was on the ice-cream counter at my Dad's restaurant. At 7, I was brewing coffee. At 11, customers said my Sangria was legendary (my Dad would get angry that I'd try a sip before serving). At 13, I started baking Portuguese bread and pastries at my family's bakery."
