What To Expect

Navigate a unique river in the heart of the oldest wine demarcated region in the world, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Start your journey from Pinhão, where you'll board a boat to the mouth of the River Tua and enjoy a 1-hour ride up the Douro River. In Tua, you'll hop off the boat and start your kayak journey on your own back to Pinhão. On your way back, you'll take in the beautiful views of terraced vineyards on the hillsides as you progress your 12-kilometer journey back to Pinhão.
