What To Expect

Spend time learning and watching one of the most feared fish in Cape Town. Your journey begins at the booking office, where you will do your registration, enjoy a light meal and a detailed briefing.Guests are welcome to visit the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary at no extra charge. Then walk down to the boat, and the trip is out at sea for 3 to 4 hours depending on shark sightings. Upon return, we will do a debriefing and serve hot soup and freshly baked bread.There is also the option to include a transfer from Cape Town or Hermanus.

Please note that this event is subject to weather/wind conditions
If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend the use of anti-sickness medication at least one day before the tour
The drive to Gansbaai is approximately 2.5 hours one way
Always bring warm clothing as it is cooler at sea than on land
Please remember to use sunscreen
Pick-up and drop-off are available for selected areas and hotels, and your pick-up place information is needed at the time of booking
