We stop at six different world-class New York City ice cream shops on this 1.5-mile 1.5-hour tour. At each ice cream store, we'll explore the story behind the business and see what makes these frozen desserts unique as you savor every flavor.

You'll learn about an ex-drug dealer who turned his life around through culinary creativity, an ice cream shop that's been passed down in a family through generations, and a translator who found her real calling. A picture is worth a thousand words, but a scoop of ice cream tells a story.

While exploring the East Village we hit the best ice cream shops and taste no fewer than 12 flavors based on a mix of my experience and your interest.
