What To Expect

Hike to the highest massif of Piatra Mare from Brasov and enjoy a breathtaking view from the top. Your guide will provide you a transfer to the starting point at Dambu Morii. After 1 hour hike, you will reach the Seven Ladders Canyon, carved by the Sipoaia stream in Jurassic limestone. You will go through it on the special trail built with metal and consisting of seven ladders and multiple bridges.Continue your hiking experience by exiting the canyon and reaching the Piatra Mare hut, at 1630 meters. You can enjoy a short break there and prepare to climb to the peak at 1844 km. From the top, you can admire an amazing view of Brasov area and the surrounding mountains: Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Baiului, Postavaru, Ciucas.Depending on the weather conditions and your preferences, you have several routes on the way down. One of them leads back to the hut where you can have a well-deserved lunch. Continue down to the base, get in the car and get back to your location in Brasov.
