What To Expect
The Transfăgărășan is a paved mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. According to TopGear it is the "best road in the world". Join us on a full day tour to see the beauty of the spectacular Făgăraș Mountains and learn how the Transfăgărășan Road was built. Enjoy a brief stop at Bâlea Lake and afterwards we head towards Vidraru Dam an imposing 166 meters high dam. On our way back to Sibiu we'll make a quick stop to visit the Clay Castle.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
