What To Expect
Triglav is Slovenia’s national symbol and pride, which we carry in our hearts as well as on our flag. It lies in our only national park with the same name, called Triglav National Park. This mountain highlights the importance of alpinism for us Slovenians and is also considered as a slavic god in our old pagan belief.
This is the most popular ascent in our country, but not the easiest one, therefore it is strongly recommended that you hire a qualified mountain guide.
You will experience the vast Slovenian land down below and the it's smallness as well, since you will be able to see the our seaside.
The tour takes two days with 8h walking. If you like to take it easy and enjoy every step, this is the tour for you.
What to remember
Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. A good hiking shoes. If you don’t have them you can rent them at the office, only please specify your shoe size in advance.. Warm hiking clothes (Wind proof jacket and a fleece). Triglav’s altitude is 2,864 m so you should dress accordingly. If it is hot in the valley does not mean it is hot in the mountains. There could be even snow.. Sun protection: sunglasses and sunscreen. Near public transportation. Trekking poles are not necessary but recommended. You can also rent them at the office.. Enough water. 1, 5 l of water should suffice. There will be wells on the way where you can refill your bottle. You can buy water in the hut as well.. A Snack. You will start to crave a lot of sugar after one whole day of hiking.. A backpack to put everything in.. Money for mountain hut and food. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking

We do the pickups for free in the Bled area 10 km. Since accommodations are scattered all around, you might be picked up from 10 min in advance or up to 10 min after the starting time, depends how far is your accommodation. We will let you know in advance.
