Departing Dakar at 9.00am, you will be on your way to Saint-Louis, a historic city, the former capital of French West Africa. Once you arrive there, you will have lunch at Le Flamingo restaurant which has a breathtaking view of the famous Faidherbe Bridge. Then after lunch, visit the old town listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, where you can ride in traditional horse-drawn carriages. Not only that, discover the preserved monuments of the colonial city including the Faidherbe Bridge, the colonial houses, the Town Hall, the Cathedral from Saint-Louis, the Museum of airmail Aviation, and Guet Ndar fishermen's district. To end the day, you will have dinner and stay overnight at La Poste hotel.The next day, visit the Djoudj ornithological park, which is listed as a Unesco World Heritage site. It is the first water point after crossing the Sahara for migratory birds like cormorants, pelicans, whistling ducks, fishing eagles, and also crocodiles, monitor lizards, warthogs, and jackal. You'll also get to visit in a dugout canoe through the backwaters before having lunch at the park restaurant and returning back to your hotels to Dakar at the end of the afternoon.
