What To Expect

Farm to Table Cooking Class is a fun, local style outdoor cooking class at an organic farm in the middle of the Chiang Mai forest. You will use only fresh ingredients from the Buddha Raksa Organic Farm and locally grown vegetables to create the local dishes and herbal drinks that are yours to feast on at lunchtime.

This tour includes Return Transfers from Chiang Mai city hotels. There is a farm tour prior to the cooking class for you to harvest fresh vegetables and herbs which will take approximately 50 minutes.

The one and a half hour, 100% natural, no chemical usage cooking class follows, consisting of Pomelo Salad, Thai Yellow Curry Noodle, Bananas Pudding and an Immune Booster Drink (Turmeric with honey and lime).

Note - Recipes are subject to change without notice and all can be adapted to Vegan/Vegetarian diet.

After a really enjoyable time of learning and preparing comes the time to sit down, in a very pleasant outdoor setting, to savour your own dishes.

Not wheelchair accessible. Adult pricing applies to all customers. Minimum age 6 years. At least 2 people are required for this activity to take place. Single traveler may book this product, but is subject to availability and cancellation if minimum number of people is not met on the activity day. Hotel pick up may be approximately 45-60 minutes prior to tour Start time/Departure time (depending on hotel location).. *** Pomelo Salad [ Yum-som-O ] ingredients.... Red Curry paste (Phrik kang Dang), Turmeric (Kha-min), Shallots (Hom-daeng). Garlic (Kra-tiam), Shrimp paste (Ka-pi), Kaffir lime leave (Bi makrud), Coconut milk (Gaa-ti). Most travelers can participate. *** Banana Pudding (Kluay-Baud-Chee) ingredients.... Bananas (Kluay), Coconut milk (Gaa-ti), Pandan leaves (Bai Tuey),. Sugar, Salt, (alternative - Pumpkin pudding). *** Immune Booster Drink (Turmeric with honey and lime) ingredients.... Organic Turmeric Powder, Honey. Lime fresh from farm, Salt. Note - Tour Duration does not include the Transfer timing to and from the Activity (approximately 45-60minutes). This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers.
