Know in advance:
- pickup times vary depending on your hotel's location
- the driver of the private car speaks limited English, sufficient for basic communication regarding the tour. They are not a professional tour guide, but will provide a document with additional information about the tour stops
- the local Thai captain of the private boat speaks basic English, enough for essential communication about the tour
- rainfall in Southern Thailand can be unpredictable, especially during the monsoon season from May to December. The tour will proceed if conditions are safe, even in light rain
- the transfer time between Phuket and Phang Nga is approximately 2 hours
