What To Expect
The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk and a transfer to the port of Kusadasi. From there, you'll take a ferry to Samos island, which takes around an hour. Once you arrive in Samos, you'll meet your tour guide and start the island tour.
The island tour usually includes visits to the island's main attractions such as the Heraion of Samos, a temple dedicated to the goddess Hera, the ancient city of Pythagoras, the town of Vathi, and the Monastery of Panagia Spiliani, which is built into a cave.
You'll have the opportunity to explore these sites with your tour guide and learn about the history and culture of Samos island. You'll also have some free time to explore the island on your own, try local cuisine or go shopping.
After the tour is complete, you'll take the ferry back to Kusadasi and be transferred back to your hotel.
