Tarangire National Park 2-day safari from Arusha

Tarangire National Park's unique wildlife and landscapes make it for a magical safari in one of the best parks in the country. Take your camera for breathtaking photos of the most charismatic megafauna on the planet. Often referred to as the 'Elephant Playground', Tarangire National park is also known for its giant baobab trees and predators. The park also hosts a large variety of spectacular bird life including endemic species.ITINERARYDay 1:Transfer from the Arusha area hotel or Arusha airport in the morning to Tarangire National Park by 4x4 jeep. The game drive in Tarangire National Park will start after lunch. Herds of up to 300 elephants can be spotted. Look out for giant kingfishers, hoopoes, and the delightfully-named white-bellied go-away bird as well. At the end of this exciting day, you will have dinner at the Burunge Tented Lodge where you will spend your night as well.Day 2: After breakfast, leave the park and drive to Arusha airport or city center hotels where you can continue with your individual program.
