The Mikumi National Park near Morogoro, Tanzania, was established in 1964. It covers an area of 3230 km² hence is the fifth largest in the country. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons zebras, leopards crocodiles and many more just to mention a few.Day 1: Departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park by 4x4 land cruiser. After lunch, you will head for the afternoon game drive in Mikumi National park. The park is home to a large variety of wildlife including elephant, lion, wild dog, zebras, hyena, buffalo, wildebeest, eland, hartebeest, crocodile, lizard and more. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. Dinner and overnight will be at Mikumi Safari Lodge.Day 2: After breakfast, leave the park and drive to Dar es Salaam.Once in the city drop off to the airport or to the hotel of your choice.
