Makoa Farm Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre tour from Kilimanjaro

The Makoa Farm Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is located at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The mission of this organization is to take care of injured wild animals who would have small chances to recover and survive in the wildlife. Currently the Makoa Farm hosts a baby elephant, a zebra, a cheetah, several monkeys (blue monkeys and baboons), marabous, mongooses, owls, tortoises, antelopes and many more.Your experience will include a guided tour with a veterinarian who will tell you more about the animals, their habits and lifestyle but also about the history of this organization and Tanzania wildlife in general. The entry fees support the rehabilitation centre. End your visit with a hot lunch at the Makoa Farm.
