Kilimanjaro 7 days Machame route is highly recommended for high altitude acclimatization gain.Though the climbing can be done in a minimum of six days (five nights) on the mountain. However, it is most often tackled over seven days (six nights), for a better altitude acclimatization schedule. The success rate is significantly higher when using the seven day route. With an approximation of 62 km/ 37 miles from gate to gate. It is designed for physically fit people with some hiking experience, but plenty of first time trekker use the route as well and do just fine.
Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Arrive in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO). Kilimanjaro Brothers staff will pick you up and transfer to Moshi town where you will spend the first night at a hotel. For those who will arrive through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Kenya, will be picked up and get transferred by Riverside Shuttle bus to Moshi.
