Nyerere National Park one-day safari from Zanzibar with flights

Nyerere National Park, formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve, covers more than 50,000 square kilometers across several regions of Tanzania. The park is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to everything from lions, hippos, leopards and more. Plus, there's a bunch of elephants in this part of the country. The Selous Game Reserve is also one of the last refuges of endangered African wild dogs, which are usually seen hopping around the brush in large packs. Nyerere National Park is only a 40-minutes flight away from Zanzibar, and your professional safari driver guide will meet and greet you at the park when you arrive. Then, you'll have a full day to head out into the wild for a couple of game drives. You'll arrive bright and early in the morning, in time to see different animals out on the prowl in search of breakfast, and you'll be back at your hotel in Zanzibar in time for dinner in the evening – the ideal touch of world-class nature mixed into your laidback beach break.
