This area, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest protected game reserve on the entire African continent, so get ready for wildlife galore.During your safari trip, you’ll stay at the Africa Safari Selous, a lodge that’s built right by a natural watering hole where lots of native animals come to drink and cool off. So, even when you’re not out on a game drive, there’s still a high likelihood you’ll see some of the locals roaming around in their natural habitats.Your first day consists of a full-day game drive. Your second day starts with a guided bush walk to observe and learn the secrets of the African bush, followed by a scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River. You might be able to spot hippos, crocodiles and dozens of different bird species. In the afternoon, you'll board your flight back to Zanzibar, after enjoying lunch in the lodge.
