What To Expect

MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK DAY TRIP SAFARI FROM ZANZIBAR ISLAND.

This is typically itinerary.

Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up at your place in Zanzibar and drive to the airport to catch your transfer to Mikumi which departs 07:00am and will arrive in Mikumi park at 08:10am.

On arrival at Mikumi you will meet your driver/guide and start game drive in a jeep/4x4 land cruiser which can take six to eight persons depending on the number of seats it has, so you will do game drive until 1pm for lunch inside the park then finish the game drive.

In the end our guide will assist you to unloading area where you will meet your awaiting transfer back to Zanzibar.

On arrival in Zanzibar, the driver will be ready to pick you up for the return back to your hotel.

Not wheelchair accessible. Most travelers can participate. This tour needs minimum of 2 pax. Clients should take comfortable walking shoes. On arrival in the park, travelers will be joining others to make 6 to 8 persons per safari vehicle, depending on the number of seats it has. Please book this tour for at least one week in advance.. A current valid passport is required on the day of travel. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
