Selous Game Reserve is the largest uninhabited area in Africa as well as an important UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for offering the best bush vibe in Tanzania. The reserve covers an area of 47,655 sq. kms. and its altitude varies from 36 meters to 1,461 meters. Selous’ popularity can be attributed to its size and its population of elephants, considered to be the largest in Africa.The park also hosts crocodiles, white and black colobus monkeys, hippos, a variety of antelopes, bushbucks, waterbucks, reedbucks,curly-horned greater kudu and sickle-horned sables.Day 1: Pick up from the city center hotel in Dar es Salaam and flight from JKN International Airport to Selous Game Reserve. After landing transfer to the camp for lunch. There is a shared afternoon game drive, returning for dinner and overnight at Selous Kulinda Camp.Day 2: After breakfast, you will be dropped off at the airstrip for a scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. On arrival transfer to city center hotels or continuation of your own arrangements.
