This tour will take you to the oldest and the biggest cathedral in Ukraine,
Kiev Pechersk Lavra, also known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves.
It is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery which gave its name
to one of the city districts in Kiev.
You will see the most beautiful churches and explore the caves with mummified remains of the Saints from 11th century.
Ukrainian people are very religious and you will have a chance to learn more about Orthodox.
Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Not recommended for people with claustrophobia to go to the caves.. Visiting the caves will be quite difficult for overweight people and those who have problems with the knees.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.
