What To Expect
A great way to soak up Alaskan beauty way from the crowds, get off the beaten path (very few hikers on this trail), and enjoy a great exercise. This hiking trek is the most strenuous trek around, so for those who love a physical challenge, this is the one. But it's worth it. It also covers the beginning part of the famed Deer Mountain Traverse (from the South end), a trek your guide has done and is happy to recount his tales.
What to remember
Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a strong physical fitness level. Able to walk a 30 minute per mile pace at a 5-10% elevation grade for at least 3.6 miles. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
