What To Expect

Join a 3-hour highlights tour of Skagway with a knowledgeable guide. Hear stories from the Gold Rush and see amazing waterfalls, azure glaciers and mountain views that seem to never end. Visit the Gold Rush Cemetery and a sub-arctic Alpine valley called Tormented Valley, where everything is dwarfed and distorted. This tour has several photo opportunities including the The Welcome to Alaska Sign at the summit, waterfalls, and the Skagway Overlook where you can capture the beauty of Skagway and ships in the inlet! Travel in comfort aboard a 24-passenger mini-bus with bucket seats and large windows, perfect for sightseeing along the way. PLEASE BRING PASSPORTS. PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED.

Hello, our wonderful guests!

I know you have received a confirmation letter explaining our meeting spots and pick-up locations, but since then, there has been a rock slide, and the city of Skagway has had to make some changes at one of our major docks. Doing so has forced Klondike Tours into changing how we meet before tours.
So we will no longer be meeting at the docks; we will be requesting all of our guests to seek rides on the SMART buses to 3rd and Broadway to our office. SMART buses come to all docks every 10 to 15 minutes; please jump aboard and tell the driver you’re going to Klondike Tours. There won’t be a charge for this ride. You will meet your driver here at our office on 3rd and Broadway.
