The middle Kenai River flows out of the glacial waters of Skilak Lake in the heart of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, home to a large variety of Alaskan wildlife.
We use an outboard motor to cross Skilak Lake and to run back upstream to fish the most productive spots.
This stretch of river can produce excellent trophy Kenai River trout and Dolly Varden char and seasonal runs of salmon. Daily guided drift boat fly fishing and spin fishing trips are available for all ages and skill levels.
Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels.
