The California Academy of Sciences expands its program to after hours with live DJs, outdoor bars and ambient lighting.Reconnect with favorite faces (we're looking at you, Claude!) while exploring the aquarium, the planetarium and other familiar places, and discover new museum spaces.With nearly 60,000 live animals, two new exhibits, the iconic Shake House, four-story rainforest and outdoor dining beneath the stars the night is sure to be wild!

Important info
- Due to the high demand for planetarium shows during NightLife events, passes must be purchased online in advance for an additional 5 USD. Reserved Planetarium Passes guarantee a seat and reduce wait times
- Most NightLife events have showtimes at 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm. Standby seats will be available onsite for all showtimes as space allows on a first-come, first-served basis
- Participants must be at least 21 years old. Please be prepared to show a valid photo ID
