What To Expect

Explore the natural side of LA. This megacity is not just freeways, traffic jams, and pollution. The surrounding nature of LA will surprise you and the stunning 360 view of the ocean, coastline, LA basin and San Gabriel Mountains is the best welcome gift from the city! Pickup from Marina Del Rey, Venice and Santa Monica area and we will hike a four mile loop in the Santa Monica Mountains—a coastal mountain range bordering Los Angeles, Malibu, and Ventura county. We will even see a couple of redwood sequoias during the hike. I have a University degree in Geology and I have been guiding tours of National and State Parks for over 30 years. On the hike, I will share super interesting facts about the geography and geology of Los Angeles and California.
