Conch Tour Train of Key West

Since its inaugural ride in 1958, the Conch Tour train has been offering an in-depth view of the city’s most charming, historic and interesting attractions. During the train ride, you’ll hear tales of the past and interesting facts, and receive an up-close view of the city’s Victorian architecture and famous tin roofs.You’ll also learn about the many residents, both past and present, that form the "Conch Republic". See some of the spots frequented by Hemingway and find out why Harry Truman spent so much time on the island. Listen to accounts of pirates and wreckers, and hear about the Tequesta and Calusa people who lived here.The historic train tour is 70 minutes long, making one full loop through Old Town Key West. Know in advance: * Tours depart approximately every 30 minutes * Reservations are not required * You can get off at any stop and board a different train to continue your tour * the tour is free for children under 4 years old * Stop B is close to the Southernmost Point, Hemingway Museum, The Butterfly Conservatory, The Lighthouse, and the Star of the Sea Grotto * Stop C is a planned 10-minute break and restroom stop * Stop D is close to the Historic Seaport and Sails to Rails Museum
