What To Expect

There’s so much to experience at Brevard Zoo. Our lush, open-air habitats are home to over 900 animals from around the world! Take your Zoo visit to the next level with animal feedings, kayak tours, train rides, aerial adventures and more.Be sure to check out our keeper chats during your visit or add an animal feeding, kayak tour, train ride or other experience to your Zoo visit. Adventures are sold separately and not included in the General Zoo Admission costs.

What to remember

Important info

The Zoo is open daily from 9.30am to 5.00pm. with the last admission at 3.30pm. Please be sure to check back on the morning of the day you are going to visit because the zoo's hours are subject to change
The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Children (age 0-2) can enter for free and do not require a ticket
Smoking/vaping is forbidden
The following items and activities are prohibited in the Zoo: soft- and hard-sided coolers, outside food and alcoholic beverages, plastic straws and lids, selfie sticks, weapons, bicycles, skateboards, and other recreational wheeled devices
Pets are not allowed in the zoo (other than service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act). Please do not leave your pet in your vehicle
