What To Expect
The Pelican is the only ferry service from downtown St. Pete to Egmont Key.Sit back, relax on a 60-foot, 49-passenger boat, and enjoy your BYOB and food during the 60-minute ride from the Pier to Paradise. You’ll sail by the beautiful shorelines of St. Pete, pass under the stunning Sunshine Skyway bridge and perhaps see a dolphin or two!You'll have 2 hours on Egmont Key to explore the pristine beaches, historic lighthouse, ruins of Ft. Dade, and the amazing wildlife before your return trip.
What to remember
Important info
- Children ages 5 and up are welcome on the ferry. Please be sure to bring any personal floatation devices they may need on the island
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price
- You can bring your own food and drinks (alcohol is permitted on the ferry but not on Egmont Key)
- Don't forget to bring sunscreen, towels and a bathing suit
