This kayak tour is a history & eco experience for kayakers with previous experience, not suitable for complete beginners.
Paddle along the Bayfront of Americas oldest city! This tour will Indulge you with some extraordinary stories of the city as it takes you by the Castillo de San Marcos/Old Fort, Fountain of Youth, the Nombre de Dios Mission and the Great Cross, designating the landing site of the Spanish.
Engage in some of the cities natural environments as you paddle up Hospital Creek along the salt marsh. Possible wildlife sightings include Dolphins, Manatees, Sea Turtles, Stingrays and all kinds of Marsh Birds. Including the Great Blue Heron and the Roseate Spoonbills.
The Downtown Bayfront History Tour is not for beginners, some experience is required. The waterways here are much more susceptible to wind speeds and boating traffic. For this reason we only take guests on this tour over the age of 16 and only provide solo kayaks.
Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions.
