Learn about the Old Fort area where many Irish communities settled in the 1800s. After this tour, you will have an in-depth understanding of why the Irish immigrated to Savannah and what their experience here was like. Questions and requests encouraged. KT O'Brien and Tom O'Brien are excited to present the Irish History of Savannah Tour. They are both especially passionate about sharing these stories as their first Irish ancestors came to Savannah in the 1850s. This is an opportunity to even hear stories passed down through families and oral tradition. The Irish have many tales to share! Join a real locals tour to learn about Irish in Savannah as early as the 1700s!
