What To Expect

Start your morning off right with a hike on the East Side of Oahu! Options are below;

(1) Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail (Sunrise Hike) Only Available on Tues, Wed, Thurs and Friday. This is a paved 2.5 mile hike for all ages. Probably the best place to watch the sunrise on Oahu. The views of the sunrise is something you have to experience live. Also between November and May, this trail is an excellent place to view migrating humpback whales. On a clear day, you may even see the neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai! There is nothing better than starting off the day hiking and seeing the sunrise on the east side of Oahu.

Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Not recommended for travelers who have a hard time walking or knee problems. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.
