What To Expect
Oak Alley Plantation features picturesque Oak Trees, beautiful landscaping, an elegant 1837 Greek Revival style plantation house, a blacksmith shop, a restaurant, and antique farm equipment. Guests will get a tour of the Oak Alley’s house and time to explore. After your plantation tour, you will experience the best of both: an educational swamp tour and a high speed airboat ride. You will travel at high speeds on the airboat, but also slow down and stop for pictures. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain.

Most travelers can participate. The order of the activities depends on the tour time chosen at checkout. If the 10:45am departure is chosen, the swamp our portion will be first.. Pickup from any major downtown New Orleans hotel. If you hotel is not listed please list in comments area. For pickups, there will be a 30 minute window. Pickup will be between 8:15 AM and about 8:45 AM for the 8:15 AM option. Pickup will be between 10:45 AM and about 11:15 AM for the 10:45 AM option. Please be on the lookout for a bus that says Alert Transportation.
