A two and a half hour history and architecture tour given by a former guide on the Salem Trolley. The route is less than two miles. We will see Chestnut Street, the Pickering House, Broad Street Cemetery, 3 Hocus Pocus filming locations, and sights related to puritans, the Witch Trials, old architecture, maritime trade, early events of the American Revolution, Hamilton Hall, first-period homes, the most haunted building, the spookiest grave, the Lyceum, the evolution of Halloween, and great restaurants. The tour is not scripted, and hard questions are welcomed.
Not wheelchair accessible. Stroller accessible. Service animals allowed. Near public transportation. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. The tour will happen even if it's raining, short of a hurricane.. Will not enter the attractions and will just stay outside.. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers.
