If you arrive from West, the tour officially starts on Highway 24 at the junction with Highway 12. If you arrive from East you should follow Highway 24 driving westbound from Hanksville. Approximately 20 minutes after leaving Hanksville, the commentary will begin as you approach the eastern boundary of the Park. But you can also join the tour anywhere along the route and pick up commentary at the next point.
