Niagara River Gorge Whirlpool Rapids Hiking Tour (USA)

Explore Niagara NY offers small group hiking tours along the Niagara River gorge. Your adventure will be lead by a New York State licensed Hiking Tour Guide. We are passionate about sharing the beauty and wonder of the Niagara River with visitors and tourists. We offer a fun, interesting and unique experience for folks looking to get away from the large and typical overcrowded tourist attractions around Niagara Falls. We start this tour by looking down into the Whirlpool from the Niagara River gorge rim. We will then hike down 400+ steps into the gorge. Once we reach the lower trail we will hike to the Whirlpool flats. Along the way you'll learn some interesting history. When we reach the Whirlpool you will have time to explore on you own, be mezmorized by the famous Whirlpool rapids and take some of the best photos of your trip. We will then take the trail back to the stone staicase and walk back to our meeting spot. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
