Through immersive storytelling and a focus on art, intersectionality, and culture, Morals + Murals Hood Tour amplifies the resilience and beauty of Black history, murals, and people in West Philly and "Norf" Philly. This three-hour tour covers a range of topics, including growing up Black, consequences of displacement, and challenging the narrative of what and where is the “hood”.
We began at LOVE Park with a brief intro before jumping on public transportation like a local to the communities showcasing the murals of Black figures such as Kenny Gamble, Patti LaBelle, Malcolm X, Will Smith, and everyday locals like us.
