The Miracle Mile Sunday Morning Church Walking Tour

Take advantage of the quietest morning of the week, and walk the Miracle Mile of the oldest churches in the South. These gorgeous worship houses have withstood hurricanes, earthquakes and many wartime bombs. We will wander into the graveyards and cemeteries and see important dignitaries of the revolutionary and civil wars. And our path leads us by other historical landmarks as well. These churches have limited access during the weekdays, but the sanctuaries are open on Sundays. Depending on our timing, you will get a chance to see the interiors of these historic landmarks.
