What To Expect
FYI - Over 80% of Americans never get to see the stars! That's what makes the Badlands so great. The Park does not have any city or other ambient lights.
This Private tour is designed for those that want a full Badlands National Park tour, enjoy a beautiful desert sunset, then stargaze . . . and return at a reasonable time.
We depart mid-afternoon and return two hours after sunset, depending on date of the year. (April/October 1:30pm depart 9:00pm return) (May/September depart 2:00pm returning at 9:30pm. June/July/Aug depart 3:00pm - return 10:30pm.)
Open-Top-Tours has explored all of the Badlands for over a decade, we know where to find the best viewing for sunset and where to find wildlife at dusk. Our experienced local guides love what they do and love to share their knowledge with our guests.
