Folks seem to love it here and I am happy to share the beauty of the river bank with visitors. Daily kayakers, or floaters may be coming through to use the ramp, so find your privacy. Spacing could become limited due to water levels and tents previously rented. Spaces are by the Collins river and no lighting or electricity is provided. Small fire pit fires are permitted and permission for a bonfire for groups can be arranged with advance notice. TWRA fishing licenses are required if fishing. Swimming is allowed and tie out floats are available to use for free. Grill is available. General store on top of the hill carries some refreshments and amenities campers may need. Insect repellant is advised and with NO LIFEGUARD on duty, young children are advised to wear life jackets near or in the river. All trash is expected to be picked up and site left as it was found. Persons exhibiting violence, unruly intoxication or property destruction will be required to leave with no refund issued.
Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers.
