What To Expect
Join this journey to the disappearing Aral Sea with this overnight tour. Leaving from Nukus, travel through rocky deserts, dried seas, and medieval towns before arriving at the Ustyurt Plateau. Spend the night in a cozy and conventional Karakalpak yurt. As the sun rises over the Aral Sea in the morning, take in the breathtaking scenery.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. Tour involve long Road/off-road drives, overnight in yurt and outdoor walking. Be ready to wear comfortable shoes & clothes (according to season to avoid exposure). No rent or sale of hiking/trekking gear. Summer is very warm while Spring & Autumn weather can be cold & windy.. Bring personal medical & hygiene needs with you as possibility of purchase on route is limited.. Inform us in advance of any food allergies.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate.
