Kruger National Park & Panorama 5-day private safari

Experience the best of the Kruger National Park! This 5-day Kruger Safari via the Panorama route tour has been designed so you can explore the best of South Africa’s Mpumalanga province known as the Panorama tour, as well as being able to visit Africa’s leading wildlife reserve, the Kruger National park, as a South Africa’s leading wildlife reserve.Day 1: You will be collected with your private group from your lodge within a 5km radius from OR Tambo International Airport or collected from the OR Tambo International Airport shuttle and bus terminal. You'll travel in your private transportation towards Mpumalanga province and the picturesque Panorama route heading to your lodge in Hazyview. Your guide will stop on the way for lunch for your own account. On your agenda today will be a visit to the Blyde River Canyon, which is said to be the 3rd largest canyon in the world. It has lengths over 40 km and in some areas is 1200 m deep with a vast selection of plants and wildlife. You´ll also encounter traditional African Huts called Rondavel houses. Don’t forget to keep your camera ready when stopping at the Gods window where you can see a drop of 1000 meters and possibly on a clear day even all the way to the Kruger and even further afield.Upon arrival at your lodge approximately 5:00 pm - 6.00 pm, you´ll have a bit of time to relax, unpack, appreciate the view before it's time for your dinner. Day 2: After a good nights rest, your guide will collect your group from the lodge before sunrise for your private full-day open vehicle safari. You will spend the day visiting various waterholes, lookout points and rivers. Your breakfast is prepacked and will be enjoyed at a local rest camp before the safari continues in search of the Big 5. A lunch stop will be made at a local camp for your own account before the journey continues back to the lodge. You´ll arrive back at the lodge around 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing with your fellow travellers by the pool or having a refreshing drink from the bar before dinner.Day 3: You´ll depart the lodge early for this half-day tour, entering the park as the sun rises to give you the best chance of seeing the wildlife as they are most active at dawn. Breakfast is prepacked and will be enjoyed at one of the picnic spots. The safari continues until returning to the lodge at around 11:00 am, leaving you plenty of time to cover from the day or perhaps unveil some great walks around the lodges. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)Day 4: As the sun rises on the horizon, you will depart the lodge for yet another great private safari. Breakfast is prepacked to give you full exposure to the new areas in Kruger National Park. The safari continues until returning to the lodge at around 11 am. Lunch will be served at the lodge. You will have enough time to relax by the bar, pool or even take a nap before setting up at 3:45 pm for the 3-hour sunset/night safari in the Kruger National Park. You´ll be returning to the lodge at approximately 8:00 pm for dinner and a good nights rest.Day 5: On this day, you have time to enjoy breakfast in the lodge in peace and watch the beautiful scenery as well as listen to the sounds of nature before being collected at 8:00 am in an air-conditioned vehicle to return to the shuttle terminal at OR Tambo International Airport and lodges within a 5km radius of the airport. Your estimated arrival at OR Tambo is between 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.Itineraries and times can vary somewhat depending program of the day.
