What To Expect
Travel from the southern tip of South Africa to Tanzania's famous Spice Island on this epic Overland journey through Africa. Starting in Cape Town, head through remote deserts, rolling savannas and lush mountains; cruise delta waterways by canoe, feel the spray of the massive Victoria Falls and meet the locals in rural villages. Take an evening safari through national parks in search of elephants, lions and hippos, relax on pristine beaches and sample exotic cuisine on this all-encompassing African adventure.
In 2019 this trip will include an extra night at a camp near Mikumi National Park between Iringa & Dar es Salaam. This will allow for an optional afternoon game drive within Mikumi National Park. Further, the Zanzibar spice tour will change to optional to allow those with limited time in Zanzibar to head straight to the beach if they desire. The itinerary will increase to 41 days, start on the same day and finish one day later in Zanzibar.
