We’d like to inform you of recent rabies cases found in seals. We’re monitoring the situation with the Department of Environmental Affairs & Tourism, & Cape Nature at Robberg Nature Reserve. Extra precautions are in place, including experienced marine spotters watching for unusual seal behavior. Our guides carry first aid kits, & our local trauma doctor is equipped to handle seal bites & vaccines are available. If you’re feeling unsure, you’re welcome to switch to a fun viewing trip instead.
