Beginning in Belize City, you'll be picked up from your hotel, cruise port, or water-taxi terminal and drive one hour north to Belize's most famous archaeological site. You'll learn about the history of the ancient Mayans who built the once-important city, and the theories of its collapse. After touring Altun Ha you'll see some of the jungle's more wild residents at the Community Baboon Sanctuary.
