World War II and Cold War private tour through Berlin

This popular tour takes you through several hundred years of German history with a strong focus on the years between 1871 and 1961.In just under three hours this tour packs it all in, giving you an overall impression of Berlin's rich, often troubled, and tumultuous history! The tour starts at Checkpoint Charlie and takes you along the notorious Clou Concert Hall where Adolf Hitler gave his first public speech in Berlin and the Rohwedder Building. Next up, you will see the Topography of Terror, the Martin Gropius Building, the Berlin Senate, Zaha Hadid's only building in Berlin and the Hansa Studios (where David Bowie recorded his now legendary "Heroes" album).Following your guide, you will hear a lot of interesting stories, while passing by Potsdamer Platz, the Holocaust Memorial, the Otto Bock building, the location of the infamous "Führer Bunker". The tour ends on Pariser Platz where you will marvel at its centerpiece, the Brandenburg Gate, as well as Frank Gehry's DZ Building, the Academy of Arts and the Adlon Hotel.
