* From the 1st July-31st August and due to the large amount of visitor there will be visiting timeslots as follows:09:00-13:0013:00-16:0016:00-20:00
* You will not be able to stay in the Algar waterfalls throughout the entire opening hours but only during the duration of one of the three timeslots, and you'll need to leave at the end of the chosen timeslot
* In July and August food is not allowed
* In ticket office number 2 there are free lockers where you can leave your food
* There are several picnic areas
* Bring water shoes as the rocks can sometimes be jagged
* Not suitable for wheelchairs
* Transfers not included
* Bring bathing gear and sunblock
* Bring suitable footwear
